Essential Guide for Migrating to Belgium: Students and Work Permits

Before submitting documents to VFS/Embassy:

• Legalized Highest/Last degree certificate and transcript:

  If you want to take Bachelor's or Master's course, you have to finish either Intermediate or Bachelor's.

• After getting the original certificate of above studies, you have to attest it from Education Board and MOFA(Ministry of Foreign affairs).

• After verifying above documents you have to attest it from a belgian Consulate or Belgian embassy.

• Legalize Police clearance certificate:

  you have to apply for Police clearance from your police station through an online application. After getting the certificate, you have to attest it from belgian embassy or Consulate as well. The validation date should be 3-6 months when you are going submit it in VFS or Embassy.

• Insurance: You have to buy insurance from Swisscare.

• Medical certificate: You have to give a health test to a doctor. The standard medical certificate must be issued by a doctor accredited by the Belgian embassy or consulate responsible for the applicant's place of residence.

• Proof of activity: You have to write what have you done after completing your last degree with better activities.
